September High Tides

The high tides of September have started and some people seem to enjoy it...
but if you want to do this you'd better grab the railing with both hands! :-)

Woo, looks like the seafront at Scarborough (North Sea coast, England!) But clearly warmer.

That's quite a splash ... I think I would pass on that activity.

I was totally floored by the spray of your first photo and absolutely delighted by your second. That looks like so much fun!

Do I envy you just now?
Yes, we have had a day with +16 and RAIN, rain and rain....
So, I understand WHY you have so many tourist from the north....

Oh cool! You can almost hear the crash of the waves. When the Chicago wind whipped up big powerful waves in Lake Michigan, we kids used to do something like the people in your photo are doing. Good thing my mother didn't know. :)

What a way to cool off! I bet that water slams into them with a lot of force!

You caught that moment perfectly! Looks so refreshing. Love the arc of the shoreline leading up to the buildings gazing out on the wide expanse of ocean. The inclusion of the people getting drenched by that wave gives such a lively perspective to the event.

The moment of the truth, though it looks scary!!

Oooh, what fun!

But I'm guessing you can't be swimming when the waters are that rough!

Wowee---you certaintly have high tide. Is this an occuring event in September? It would be fun to watch but not to get caught in a huge wave. MB
