It is a good thing that the bamboo has not spread to take over the field of flowers. I had a neighbor in Virginia who planted bamboo and I faced a battle to keep it out of my yard.

Bamboo is becoming very popular in South Florida.

And I've got neither background bamboo nor flowers. Fortunately I've got a bookmark for ODP...

Bamboo and Black-eyed Susans? It's a beautiful scene! We've known people who planted bamboo in Florida to gain some privacy. But it very soon got out of hand. Crazy stuff when it starts growing!
