Looks like entertainment from the early 1900's.

You know, I remember these theaters...when younger (about 17-18), we'd sneak into a burlesque theater in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Then, when in my first year of college in Chicago, we would go to movie theaters downtown which still had the old organs, and live acts between shows. We saw Patti Page, Rudy Vallee, and many other great singers.

Good memories, JM.

A great composition and an interesting theme. I wonder what will they think of our shows and movies in 2110...

History.
I do not like the smell of the decay of old museums here. Hope ventilation in Oeiras's ones is OK.

Reminds me of the style of the belle epoque

Great graphics. Looks pretty risque even for the 1910s. Although I do believe Jacob would know. LOL MB

Neat exhibit, but the best part is that I suddenly feel better about how I look in a swimsuit! :) I'm kidding.
Oh, and I have a Echinocatus too, although I've never called it that. :)

Wanted to - at last - say "hello" again. I have been too absent from most blogs latelely (although not striking), but I now took the time to go through your posts that I had missed, reminding me of my recent visit to your beautiful country!
