Fallen Rocks

Every year I notice more fallen rocks on this coast after big storms. The ocean is definitely winning many battles and transforming the shoreline.
As to the broken beach chair, well, it was surely dragged by the water and someone, ironically, put it there. :-)

The stone block is massive!
Funny idea to put that chair there, I would not "face" sit there! :)

My that is a huge rock. You mean the storms can tumble rocks that size around like a pebble? Interesting shot with the chair and all. MB

I'm glad that chair is broken. It doesn't look like a good place to sit.

Maybe they were looking for some shade? Very nice shot!

It doesn't look like a very restful spot to relax!

Terrific capture and what an enormous rock! Wow! I think I'd be reluctant to sit in that chair even if it wasn't broken!!! Hope your week is off to a great start, JM! Enjoy!

Well, any one wondering if irony is dead will have conclusive proof upon viewing this image that it is very much alive.

Brattcat beat me to it. Good capture.

Without the broken chair to give a sense of scale we would not realize how massive that fallen rock is.

That's just a bad idea! :) But I like the thought of nature taking over.

This is a recent fall. I thought it would be something that happened centuries ago.

I'm glad you think the chair was put there. The idea that someone got squashed is not a nice one!
