I saw that on the TV news this morning. My thoughts went straight to you, wondering how it goes with transport etc. Does it effect you all, in one way or the other??
Big changes many places these days. I also understand many of the people who peacefully demonstrate! And it is a right we all have living with Democracy. An important one:)
It's getting worse next year... Prices are going up and consumers have less to spend. But if you go to the center of Helsinki - people are shopping like before... It's been snowing here the whole day... Santa is coming soon :)
Troubled times indeed. This is happening everywhere, worldwide and it is scary. I do worry about my kids -- so far so good, but for how long??? And, at this point, I'm relieved that I have no grandchildren. There is something to be said for being a family of loners in times like these. Have a lovely evening, JM.
I heard about this in the news. It is frightening to wonder where this crisis will lead. It seems humanity is going backwards instead of forwards, back to the times Charles Dickens wrote about.
This is some kind of old liturgy, I don't think strikes are an answer to our woes. Money won't come out of nothing for none of us... Great picture anyway!
Sounds exactly like the U.S. The rich keep getting richer off the backs of the rest of us. For example, many major corporations in the U.S. paid no income taxes at all last year.
Makes me realise how fortunate we have been in Australia to ride out the crisis with very little disruption (but perhaps not the second wave). But are strikes the answer? In the past when we had high unemployment and lots of strikes in Australia they seemed to hurt those who are down more than helping them.
Wonderful photo of a sad situation. With a little hope we'll all get through this. At least we have one another to share a little beauty with the world.

Apres la France, le portugal
we support the strike ! We had 9 demonstrations here in France !
When I woke up this morning, this is the story I was hearing on the radio. It makes me wonder where this world wide economic crisis will take us all.
We truly live in troubled times and it makes me worry for my children and grandchildren.

Same thing happening everywhere.

These are troubled times everywhere it seems.

As always, unfortunately ...

Yikes! The way of the world today.
Poor will get poorer, as usually! Difficult times for many of us I guess!
Please be careful this day.
global headache.
the economy takes its toll

Strong image for an intense time.
Oh sorry. It seems this devil is everywhere.
You hit a nerve here!!
I read about this in the paper. It is worldwide I think.
I feel helpless at times. MB

I really hope that things will not get as bad as in Greece!
It is a worrying and sad situation.
Hope this strike will have solved something. Doesn't really work here, and Spain passed the 20% unemployment mark.
The "official" unemployment rate in California is 12.5%, but those in the know say the real number is over 20%.
