@Sharon: I would like to tell you it's dry because of some water saving project or something of the kind, but as many others, it simply is not working. I can only think of one reason and that is: no money, no maintenance! Whatever, it's a shame as it's also a shame the current chaotic economic situation of this country!!! But I don't even want to start talking about politicians...

Is it just shut off for the winter or does it not work any longer. It is a beauty.
Marvelous old fountain and a terrific capture with those wonderful blue skies! Have a lovely evening and a great week ahead, JM!

There is always something sad about a dry fountain.
Not even a drop?! Very beautiful fountain! We just don't have fountains like that over here in my area! Zut alors!

Not much different here, but this is really a beautiful fountain!
But still it is beautiful! Lovely composition!
Beautiful sculptures. And the blue-blue sky.
Although it lacks the water has a good shot this beautiful source. Greetings.
wonderful perspective making use of the bright blue sky as the perfect background
That is amazing and the color of the sky is wonderfully rich.
Ah the history and the architecture...sigh. And of course your photo :)
Very grand and nicely composed photo.
Looks great with or without water.
Eu adoro o contraste de cores nessa foto, o destaque maravilhoso para o "azul"do céu, que dia lindo e perfeito!
A fonte tem um aspécto romantico!

So sad but at least it is still beautiful and not outwardly broken. MB
