Fantastic! Reminds me of an abstract painting:

Fantastic shot, terrific composition and I can almost hear the water! You do indeed have an incredible talent for making something ordinary look terrific and fascinating, JM! Hope you have a lovely evening and a great tomorrow!

Truly lovely! So many various in both color and texture...it's the kind of photo you could look at for a long time because it's so fascinating.

Re your comment on Ocala DP: You are, indeed, a font of wisdom. Thanks for the info.

Les teintes sont exceptionnellement belles ... et la photo en devient magnifique.

Wonderful shades of soft colors with some intriguing reflections. I like the name of the place: in Italian Santo Amaro means Saint Bitter!

Unknown said...

@VP: The portuguese word for bitter is 'amargo', very similar to yours actually! :-)

Beautiful textures and colors. I should visit Oeiras Daily more often. You do a wonderful job of capturing the town and area.

Great shot, you've got to have an eye for photography to frame and capture something like this.

JM, the dark rich colors with the reflections of the water are superb. This has "hang on the wall" quality!

Lovely image. I especially like that lapis lazuli blue at the top.

Not only fabulous textures but colors and shapes too. By the way, I kind of figured you'd have a blanket like the one in my photo :)

Water always makes colors so much more interesting. Nice shot.

So very interesting. I need to run my hand over it to feel the textures. Very clever---good eye. MB
