Obviously you are in a warmer climate than many - «Louis» has noticed bloggers in Canada and the northern tier of states in the U.S. are posting winter scenes now. Autumn colors are still showing here in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Terrific capture as always! Our leaves and colors are just about all gone here in Seattle and GRAY is the word and color for the day! Enjoy your evening, JM!
Yes, it is similar to inland southern California. You have to look hard enough to find the subtle changes, as you have captured so beautifully in this richly toned and textured photograph.
It doesn't look like winter there, it's an almost spring like picture. The dark red tree, I can't remember what it's called (I know you know :) - those are really pretty, they flower pink, right?

That's one of the disadvantages of living in a warm climate.

Enchanting by Autumns colours!

Nothing quite like Autumn colors.
A lovely combination of colors.
I love it that you still have leaves. :)
I like the yellow. It's pretty bright!
We are still seeing this here as well. That color is glorious!

I've almost forgotten autumn colours due to heavy snow and the freezing cold outside:)
I'd say these are very nice autumnal colors. But I know what you mean...we have some color, but nothing like the northern parts of the U.S.
Still, this is one heck of a nice photo and I'm sure you appreciate the warmer weather even though it disallows for bright seasonal changes...
You did very well with the colors you had, here isn't any better, no fancy colors either.
Wonderful, I love the contrast of tones and texture between the trees. Very good.

There might not be many but the few are beautiful. Happy Friday!

Reminds me of life in my city back in mid-October! Now it's all covered in white, fluffy stuff!
Bon weekend
