Marvelous capture, but always hate to see the damage that fire does particularly to such beautiful, old homes/buildings! Enjoy the day and your weekend, JM!
That's very sad! I hate fires! When I was in Navy boot camp, we had to learn fire fighting...(fires aboard ship are nasty) and I hated it...firefighters are my heroes.
As always, I love the color and the tiles and the ironwork and .........everything about your beautiful city JM. But most of all.....your new and fab profile photo. :) V

That's awful! At least those pretty tiles were spared.
The tile work came endured the fire will. I hope the people and their property were saved.

I'm hoping it has been restored inside. The tile work is beautiful.
But the azulejos are still so beautiful...

Estos azulejos são maravilhosos! Blue on pink, just great.
I don't mind decaying houses but always find burnt out ones very sad.
I'm glad the azulejo survived. Is it a recent fire?
@VP: I think the fire took place this year. I have previously photographed the door and the building was OK then.

What a shame! This beautiful house urgently needs a restoration.
Sad to see, but it's a fine photo.
So much to like, the tile work, of course, the pinkish facade, the architecture...too bad about the fire.
