It must once have been so beautiful, lived in and cared for. How sad.
j'aime bien cette vieille maison, cette fenetre
Number 16 could use a little rehab. Well, maybe some big rehab.
"Once upon a time..... "It is like this photo want to tell a story...Still many beautiful details at the place.
What a shame...look at that beautiful balcony gone to rot...in fact this place looks infested with water and the resulting mold and mildew...probably should be bulldozed?
another lovely window that needs a lot of TLC.happy new year.
Could be such a lovely place!
They are like people: born, lived, gone.
This is a marvelous and a brave photo. I have been thinking lately that many posts -- including mine -- look like we are cheerleaders for our cities. We overlook plainness and hide ugliness. I haven't resolved for myself whether to feature problems. You did it today in a thoughtful way. I need to continue thinking . . .
I don't see this as sad, but as beautiful and with a story to tell. Just as I don't see old people as sad or in need of renovation. Age and decay have a beauty of their own and need to be celebrated.
Good seen, a wonderful old mood in this picture!
It could be so beautiful. A little clean and some paint.
I love the textures and details! Very nice shot!
Ay yi yi!! Now that is decay for sure. MB
Lovely earthy colours and textures here.
Love the balcony, easy to imagine it neatly painted, before the rust. What a pity for these buildings...
I love your DECAY photos but they do bumm me out - I wish someone could fix up those places! A sad story...
Great shot JM!
Liked the rustic look !!!
Magnificent photo full of poetry. I love the color and texture of the wall. Happy 2011. Leovi
