Terrific capture as always and it does look as though this old building has seen better days! Love the tiles and wish I could have seen it in it's younger days -- of course, guess people could say that about me as well!! Have a lovely evening, JM!

JM, I knew when I saw the title that you would provide a provocative photo... this would have been such a beautiful place at one time with the door, balcony and tiles... your photo is lovely in a sad sort of way. Merci

It's great how the tiles always still look wonderful in these old buildings!

Je suis du même avis qu'Olivier. A few tiles are missing, what a shame :-)

I am afraid of houses with dead windows. It is not decay, it died already, at least it feels like that.

That looks more like a little rot from the inside and perhaps a fire or two. Does the city require the owner of such a place to fix it up?

You are into this decay in a big way, Jose, judging from the title of this one. Sure is a mighty fine sight for the eyes: the wiring, the 'whiskers'.

From the name of the store, I guess the ground floor to have been updated. The tiles are gorgeous. Hope someone manages to snafu them before this little beauty falls into a heap.

This is bad, a pity for the tiles and even the azulejos are are in danger...

What beautiful tiles. I wonder if they will be recycled.

Oh my, this is just awful. What has happened. Is there really a boutique open below? MB

Not so keen on this one ... it looks quite derelict.

What a wonderful array of materials, colors and patterns.

All the wires hanging look dangerous! I wonder what happened to the missing tiles.
