Purrfect. The contrast is amazing. Bloody well done, mate!

How did you do this? Was that scary black cat just sitting there waiting for you to take the pic? What great fun.

The fortress is also impressive sitting out there so stoically in the water as if daring anyone to encroach on its boundaries!

Overall a superb photograph!

A striking composition - really nice!
And you backing off your balcony could have far greater consequences than me backing into a cactus! :)

Is a black cat associated with bad luck in your corner of the world, JM?

Beautifully composed. The cat appears to be enjoying having its portrait taken. :-)

Did my chat noir Meeps scamper off to visit you JM? This looks just like her! What a fabulous shot. the composition is perfect. I"m going to try and find a way to copy it as an example of excellent composition for my photoography students! I hope that will be ok with you.

Wonderful lighthouse, and that cat doesn't even look real. It looks like a painting.
