These are superb. Where is the light coming from? It is magnificent. Don't tell me you took these photos in 1951? Heck I was still a kid in 1951! Was it built in 1951?

@VP: Yes, Condestável is a title, his name was Nuno Álvares Pereira.

@Jacob: The church was built in 1951. :-)

The light and perspective here is just delicious. Regarding the Royals, that is part of a revamp of all my sites which will will happen over the next week or so ... you spotted the new addition very quickly!

Love the night shot. At first I thought you meant you took the photo in 1951, then I realized you were probably telling us that's when it was built. It's still early for me!
