The light is lovely, as is the perspective. Fair takes my breath away.
What I need to know is how come you were permitted to take this photo? I tried to take photos in Gare du Nord (yeah yeah on my way to Giverny!) and was told quick smart to put my camera away!!
I can play on my little old lady from the antipodes status in situatons like this ... *grin* ...
I really like this. It has a great sense of depth and age, reminding me of many of the great railway stations of Europe. We have nothing quite like it in the US.

ressemble beaucoup à la gare de Lyon sur Paris
I love the way you've framed this photo!
J'adore ces marquises ... Mais celle-ci est particulièprement belle !
Great perspective! I love how you display the abstract graphic quality of the structure which is further highlighted by the backlighting.
hm...Stickup said it already! :)
Have a good week!
What an elegant roof. Much nicer than some stations. Love the graphic quality of your photo.
I like old train stations like this. Great place to take interesting shots like this.
I love train stations. This one is especially nice!
Love this train station, inside and outside! I took pretty much the same photo last week.
Happy New Year JM! Nice play of light here.
I have been there, and the outside is even better if I remember well. The inside reminds me of Monet and his paintings of the Gare Saint-Lazare.
Rail stations are always a favorite with me!

Another fantastic architecture shot! Great perspective!
I like the cover...is it open in the middle so people get rained on? The light is nice.
Good job, JM!
(P.S. If I'd taken this photo people would ask me as to when in the 19th century it was shot!) ;-)

Wow that is amazing. Great light.
No wonder these wrought iron and glass vestiges of the Victorian era caught the attention of the Impressionists.
nice old station !
I love old train stations with the play of light, steel and grand proportions. Lovely shot.
It's amazing and I love the perspective!
