This would make a classic setting for a scary movie... The people in the second photo give a great perspective of the enormity of the scene... very nice

I love the solitude and atmosphere added by the people in the second photo.

Bonjour!
Fog but it gave a beautiful special touch in this scenery!
A kind of mystery in the air!

Still some brave souls on the beach - it looks very dark and other-worldly.

Both awesome, but I like the second too much!

Dontcha just love fog? I could spend hours photographing in the fog. Wait a minute, I have spent hours photographing in the fog!

These are both super shots. As I think I said yesterday, I can feel the mist in the air as the horizon fades into nothingness...

Genie is right, perfect setting for a great mystery!! I love the foggy days! Terrific captures as always, JM. Thanks as always for stopping by my blog and for your comment, I had a wonderful visit to Chichén Itzá several years ago and have photos, but they're not in my computer. Such a great and amazing place! Hope your week is going well!

A misty mysterious looking landscape. I love the play of water on the shore in the bottom photo.

I love the way it rolls in and then out again. Reminds me of the John Carpenter movie "The Fog."

Hauntingly beautiful images these past few days, JM.
Yes, like you, «Louis» has been posting grey images this week. That will change for the rest of the week. Stay tuned for Sunday Bridges!

I like the atmosphere of these, like a suspension of time or motion (of people) which is somewhat dreamy.

Thanks for the link on the evil eye beads, I had a vague thought about such a thing when I took the photo but it remained...well vague until you and Joanne said something about it.

These are great! I love pictures with fog but I don't think I've ever taken one. :)

Perhaps this is formed by the warm streams of water from the Caribbean meeting the old of the North Sea. It looks very bleak, but also very powerful.

Good shots showing the awesome power of Mother Nature.
