A lot of contrast in this shot. Contrast between wealth and poverty.

Perfect capture, the reflections look as a mirror!

The person has made a neat little closet.
I guess it will always be that way, that some have sailboats and some are homeless.

Sommes-nous dehors ? Sommes-nous dedans ? J'aime bien l'ambiguité de cette image.

I agree with Sharon, much contrast between wealth and poor. The reflection is perfect.

Very interesting picture, which tells a lot: terrible contrast between fortune and poverty, and strange mix of in and out..

A thought-provoking image.

Very sweet photograph! I love boats so I really love this reflection! What is all that stuff piled in the corner? Looks like the belongings of a homeless person! :-)

It also looks like an overcast and kind of gloomy day...

A nice framing with a sour touch. Actually the harbor is the only place where you won't find homeless people here.

I agree. The contrast is thought-provoking, which I take to be deliberate. I wonder if it gives the homeless person some consolation to be among all that 'glitter'.

Nice social commentary, Jose ...

Photo muito nitida!
O contraste entre a miséria e a riqueza deixa uma espécie de "mal être" (mal estar? o meu português está cada vez mais fraco!).

Fascinating image. A perfect reflection with a statement.

My first reaction was to be sad, but perhaps this homeless person has a better location and situation than many others. It is certainly a though-provoking image. Thank you for visiting Hartford Daily Photo the last few days and for your very kind comments about Susie's photographs. I am proud of her.

I'm more interested in the reflections of what look like sailboat masts. Nice colors in this shot too.

What a great reflection in this poor person closet.

Reminds me of the homeless camps I saw on the steps of the Trocadero in Paris for some reason. . . .

It's sad, but a lovely composition too.

The harbor looks busy and also prosperous, unlike the onlooker in the corner.

Very moving picture in its sobriety... It allows to imagine hte life of the homeless, even if he(she) isn't present on the picture... Very strong : I love it.
