I have no idea why, but my head cannot take in that this is Portugal! It is like a tropical oasis. Lovely weeping ferns, Jose. The pink impatiens make a lovely show along the top.

Re your comment about vanishing beaches...we have the same problem...usually during the summer when the storms and hurricanes hit...millions of dollars are spent every year on refurbishing the beaches (tourism being Florida's main industy - no beaches, no Florida!)...
