sad that they let a building get in this bad of shape, but it still makes a beautiful photograph...

It's interesting, isn't it, that decay can make some of the best photos!

Another gorgeous photo like Kate said! By the way, you'll see that I borrowed your idea on my blog today...

I agree -- as much as I hate to see old building etc. in decay, they do make for terrific photos! And this is one of those terrific ones! Hope your week is off to a great start, JM!

Lots of subtle colors in this, and I like the inlaid steps.

The colors on the wall are pleasing to the eye. I like the brick pavement.

The descending steps may be symbolic of the decay of this building. Or are they ascending...

You are the master of decay as I so stated on Images - L & L Photography today...

If you haven't checked that out, you will note I gave you credit for being a "master" and linked to your blog.

(The "Morning Run" post was yesterday)

I'm really sorry you're having a problem with the thumbnail. I think Small City Scenes is, too. I have no clue, other than I'm using Mozilla Firefox and sometimes what I do doesn't work well with IE...

The Images thumbnail shows up fine on all of my blogs, so I have no idea how to fix it.

The problem could be an internal one with Blogger, also...that does happen sometimes. :-)

Oooh, this is just lovely (photographically speaking, I guess not so lovely for the building :)

Decaying, but with a certain beauty.

Yummy. The wear, the repairs, the muted colours. They remind me of a building I keep admiring in Kandos which I will photograph and post one day.
