It certainly has a "fortress" look to it.

It is a fortress.

I have absolutely no idea what is going on! I CAN'T SEE THE PICTURES EITHER but they are there, they will show if you click on the two dots. This never happened before and I really don't know what to do (I already deleted and reposted three times)...

Blogger has been a pain in the whatever lately, I do wish it would get its act together! Terrific capture, however, once I found the right dot! Hope you've had a great weekend, JM! Enjoy your week!

It is very stark and kind of frightening it a way.

I finally saw the pictures after clicking on the dots. Seems like this templete cannot bear the bandwidth and the picture size. Consider going for a simple templet since your pictures are of high resolution and I think this darn blogger templet cant take all that.

@Sailor: These pics, like all the others are not of high resolution (about 850X630), but thanks for the tip anyway.

I like the first photo. Is this fort being used for anything? Is it open for viewing?

Unique architecture....

Quite a sober fortress, but still in shape!

You have so many interesting structures and places on this beach. It does look intimidating and I would guess served quite effective as a sentry box!

Both photos are great.

Fantastic lines against that blue sky.

Simple architecture that probably did its job really well.
