Vasco da Gama Tower

Parque das Nações, Lisbon
I was really surprised to see a new building attached to the structure, so I guess the word tower is senseless now.
The revolving restaurant on top, with a great view over the Tagus estuary, is closed.

Closed? That's too bad. I bet the view is wonderful. I love those cactus in the foreground!

belle architecture moderne, et les cactus rêvent d'être aussi grands que la tour ;))

Reminds me of the Space Needle here in Seattle. Too bad the restaurant is closed! Terrific capture, beautiful skies! Hope your week is going well, JM!

Maybe the restaurant will open one day and then we can see pictures of the view from the top. Great composition on this shot.

Just like the great name Vasco da Gama, this tower+building look larger than life.

A dynamic and dramatic tower, and your photo fills it with a sort of suspense as to height and width and what's inside and what does it all mean?

Cool structure! It reminds me a little of the famous 7 Star hotel in Dubai! Surprised to see cactus there....

That would surprise me too... nice contrast of the cacti with the sleek building.
