Magnificent! Quite fitting for the Portuguese explorer who who was one of the most successful in the Age of Discovery. I have to discover this place for myself!
Such a good idea, to have it above you. Once in Maine I was at the Carpenter's Boatshop, where a dozen people live and work in community. In their dining room were many maps on the walls and even on the ceiling. If someone was talking about his place or where he traveled, he would point it out with a laser pointer.

How exquisite. I love looking up and traveling the world inside that blue circle.

What a magnificent ceiling - it's a work of art!
Very beautiful. I cant imagine the trouble the artist had to paint it there.
Wow! That is beautiful.
i'd like the same painting on my ceiling !
Wow, that is an amazing ceiling. Like it should have another name besides "ceiling" to do it justice. Great perspective and composition!
Ahh...that is a lovely ceiling!
We're both looking upwards today! This is marvellous!
That is a real beauty and all you have to do is look up!

Feliz domingo et à bientôt****
Very impressive.. the fact that it has not been shown much before, at least as far as I know, makes it even more attractive
Zounds! That is just superb. All the intricate detail is so special and the world "map" looks like a gem set in a larger piece of jewelry!
I love that blue...and maps...gives me ideas :)

Ornate and utterly delightful!
I like that blue .. something rich abour blue and gold.
Quite a stunning tribute to this world explorer. I like maps and wonder whether this one is as we know the globe to be today or some earlier version.
Amazing.
Vasco da Gama doesn't deserve any less, even in an Aquarium!
