The three shades of blue are striking. The design of this looks like a pillbox with a balcony.

I like the different color, especially the fort - it's very unusual.

I also love the play of the colors here...

Yes, the blues are very striking. I also like the composition. The building makes me think of a cartoon dog or a robot profile. It channels The Jetsons.

There are 300 years difference as to when they were built. I told them back in 1644 that salmon was the wrong color for a fort; made it look like something was fishy!

Did they listen? Noooooo!

Seriously, it's a very well-composed photo and the colors are delicious. But you knew that!

Re my questions and your inability to answer them (Heh, heh): Most are rhetorical and I apologize for asking because I know you've got enough to do without worrying about stuff that I don't need to know anyway!

So, in the future, if I ask - ignore me. OK?

:-))

Serendipity at work: we both posted combination of pink with other colors... Yours is enhanced by the sky and is more lively!

A salmon fort was as Jacob implied, very avant garde I'm sure! HA Love the blue that seems to match the sky this day.
