What a place!

I guess it's just a museum now? Nobody lives there?
Can you take us inside?

@Leif: Unfortunately taking photos inside is strictly forbidden and there is no way you can do it without being noticied, there are people watching you in every single room...

What a gorgeous shot. The sun has made the palace glow with color.

To answer your question, that was a sculpture of a saguaro behind the colorful pot on my site.

Such stunning architecture. I love seeing the people in the courtyard to give better sense of the dramatic size. Beautiful light!!

You know how I appreciate any single image of this curious and fascinating place. I like the effect of the sharp shadows and the barely discernible and faraway plain.

Oh, what a shot. Oh, what shadows.

The way you caught the shadows is magical.

I never paid much attention to shadows until I started doing photography. Now I am very aware of the changing play of light and shadows. These are stunning with that lovely golden light.

It appears this is high on a hilltop, and a city lies spread out beneath in a valley (which has a layer of smog hanging over it!)...

What what a place! Great colors and light and shadows. You did a triple-play here!

Wow! That herringboned spire first draws the eye, and then the wonderful shadows below. A terrific photo and a terrific place, JM.

What a great picture JM, it's all been said but just to add, I love the way the man standing quietly in the shadows, blends in subtly making a different shape to the others.

Nice photo! I thought of you yesterday. I have a travel calendar which highlights a particular destination each month. I turned to July and it's Portugal and it had several photos of Sintra on it!

I could live there.
