I want to see inside. Bet behind that door there are lots of great stories to be told. It is always sad for me seeing the old pieces of architecture decaying. There is so much of that here in our part of the world. People just can no longer afford to take care of the structures. This capture is wonderful and captivating.
I especially like the angles of the roof line and the shadow on the door. The small peek allowed by the door shows that the inside, although abandoned by the last human residents, has been colonized by local plant life.

Oeiras should be declared a UNESCO world heritage site, if you ask me. These places should be preserved forever for everyone to see. Nostalgic shot!

Once there was a garden and a vegetable patch behind that stark wall...
... and the flowers still grow. Nice contrasts of textures here.
