It's good to see things from above sometimes JM,the top of the carriage is quite beautifully ornate, the building below is totally amazing, you can just feel how long it's been around.
There are so many carriages in that museum! Choosing to show from above gives us a great view of the ornateness of them since even the exterior top is lavish. Good idea, JM!

You've shown us this museum once before, right...I mean other photos of it...And incredible place! That first shot gives one a whole new perspective on what a coach looks like.
I think there might be some kind of "moral" here about how we often see only one facet of a person and make judgments based on that cursory information...
The top photo is a keeper. So much variety of texture. The glints of gold from the frame and wheels intensify the luxury of the roof's color and texture. Is it velvet? Mohair? The polished stone floor is an added textural treat.
