It brings me memories about my travel to Lisbon a few years ago. Ah, the pasteis de Belem, a little piece of heaven.

Magnificently like the prow of a ship ploughing through the waters. Lovely capture of the light, Jose.

Striking shot. Soooooo worthy!

I agree with Julie JM from the angle you've taken this shot it does look like the prow of a boat bathed in golden light heading across the Bay. Definitely postcard worthy.

You got a lot of nice things in here! I'd buy this postcard for sure. :)

Everything about this photo is wonderful. the monument with the sun making it glow, the straight line of the bridge against the slightly pink horizon and the blue of the water. This is wonderful.

I agree with brattcat that most of your photos are postcard worthy and with Julie that the sculpture on the left looks like the prow of a ship. Another wonderful image today, JM.

Great angle to use the tip of the Monument to the Discoveries to add depth to the river and bridge.

Quando estiver em Portugal a primeira coisa que farei é ir ter uma conversa com Cabral. E o que lhe direi? É cara... deu certo ;) O resto... é papo secreto.

I've seen photos of the Monument before but never from this angle...it is very well composed with with the bridge and church beyond and the light, too! Fantastic!

Is this really the same monument that I saw on a rainy day? ;) Not the first time when you use warm light to make something look really good.

Perfect for the theme and beautiful light. We visited here on our one visit to Lisbon years ago. I also remember the horrible traffic coming north into the toll gates on the bridge.

I am not surprised at the bridge being in your postcard but find the monument in the image a great touch.

(JM, you notice the earlier post with the wrong Id, please don't publish it)
