Both shots were taken at Oeiras

Problems with Blogger... again!

Unable to work with the 'new' editor and the old one sucks!
Update: It seems the problem is fixed and bigger photos have been uploaded.

At least there's enough plaster left on the wall for a mural.
I gave up on the new editor when it was still new. Sorry about your troubles.

I like the colors and textures. I get excited, yet nervous when I find places like this. You never know what (or who) is going to appear out of nowhere.

beaucoup de vieilles maisons ou usines sont devenues des "ferme a tag" j'aime bien , je trouve que cela fait revivre certains endroits

Yes, JM, I will spend my time with you in another part of town. Let's get out of here!

Sadly, this is an all too familiar scene. It seems that almost every city has spots like this. I've seen my share driving around town.

Good luck with blogger. It sure can be frustrating from time to time.

Definitely a place to watch your back!! Fascinating captures though -- from a distance! So sorry about blogger problems! I've had some, too, the few days! Have a great evening, JM!

... and you probably don't want to 'go' at least w/o the camera at your side.

The graffiti artists are having a field day with those crumbling old walls. Hopefully blogger will be sorted soon JM I agree 'old' editor is a pain!!

Ah...I think I'll stay clear. Just being "colorful" does not mean "attractive." Ugh!

Sorry about your Blogger problems. I'm OK for now. But something crops up every once in awhile.

I have heard from several people that they have had problems with blogging. (I can't post comments on my own blog, and posting photos is a challenge.)

Glad you got over the problems. It's too bad there's decay like this in your city. But you still make it look good somehow. :)

Great images of something most of us have to live with...

Doesn't look like a place to linger in for too long!

I'd go there and take pictures, but preferably with some companions along. It's a pity I can't read graffiti in Portuguese.

I am happy too see that even there you have a fair share of low level taggers!

You title says it all for me... although of course I still want to see. Without knowing the bad, how can we admire the good?

Maybe Blogger just didn't like all the junk (LOL).... it's amazing how interesting and colorful all that junk is though -- and when we drive past those kind of places I always want to take a picture and maybe next time I will.

The images appeal to me ... colourful and not too scribbly.
