la tour du chateau est magnifique, on la dirait sorti d'un conte de fée

How incredible JM, what a great angle you've taken this from, I didn't realize at first that this was the fountain in front!

What graceful architecture!

Such a beautiful building. It looks like you could take many pictures of this place from all different angles.
Yes, my Echinopsis does bloom more than once a year. In fact it just bloomed again for the second time about 4 weeks ago and had five blooms at once. That is more than I've ever seen at one time.

What a fantastic capture, JM! I love the detail in the towers, too! What a beautiful building -- looks like a castle from a story book and the fountain, too! Such vivid blue skies. Marvelous composition as always! Have a great evening!

Omigod! Are you sure this isn't a church. Certainly doesn't look like a bureaucratic, functional box as do most government buildings in this country. That is simply amazing and I love your photograph!

This is giving the Hôtel de Ville in paris a run for its money. Gorgeous and so clean and pristine.

Love the shapes on that pointed tower, especially against the contrast of the blue.

Gosto das torres, das torres de vigia e das torres nos castelos, penso que são lugares cheios de mistério.

I'm truly amazed with it's look. So tall and big.

Funny how this reminds me of Prague, which it shouldn't!

You have shown some fabulous images of Sintra before. This image continues your tradition. So much to look at.

Your image captures the scene perfectly.

When I first glanced at this I thought it said Sinatra. Wonderful, bizarre architecture. The left tower looks like German Baroque. The column on the right is, well, unique.

Wow I don't know where to look first. I love all of the detail.

Great architecture...again!
No, I haven't been to Caffe Florian, but that just gives me a reason to go back (like I need one!) :)

It's like a fairy castle.

Ohh, it's so much like a fairyland!

The city (some other group) is taking excellent care of this building. The details are amazing as are so many that you have photographed in other buildings and locales. The uniformity of the windows and the decorations around them add so much character to the architecture.
