What an intriguing statue!! My first thought was Mr. Spock, too! Interesting capture for the day, JM, you are good at finding those! Hope you have a lovely evening!
I've never see one of these guys dressed this way. They are usually all in silver when I see them here. Either way, it amazes me how they can stand so still for so long. It makes my joints feel stiff!
I was always afraid of them. But it's my problem, I also do not trust dolls.. If I repeat for the 200th time that you are the master of photography, will you beat me? because you are.
So is that one of those street buskers who just don't ever blink? Amazing. (I am a sucker for street performances -- Bill is always losing me as he walks ahead and I'm still there.

Mr. Spock's relative.
Oh my, what big ears you have. Pointy, too!
This must be some sort of "art" installation, right?
I always wonder about these people. I think they are amazing. And yes I thought of Mr. Spock too.
Have a great new week.
Strange. I wonder if he gets many tips for this costume. Did you leave him a euro for the photo at least? ;)
Perfect use of the Rule of Thirds. You are fast becoming my best resource for my photography classes JM.
wonderful shot.
I hope that this is not a self-portrait! Nice and trim, but, oh, those ears!

@Halcyon: No, I left him €0.50! :-)))
Oh what people will do for some change. He should install a camera to capture people who view him.

I admire these 'artists'. I always want to tickle them though.
How fantastic JM, I also wonder how they manage to keep so still, it's a little creepy and totally freaks my daughter out haha!!

Interesting statue, but the bars on the window draw my eyes away from the subject.
Ha, he's bit scary but funny!
The pavement is so distinctively Portuguese. :)
I bet if he jumped suddenly there would be a shriek from the bystanders! Great capture... love the wall color and the tiles as well!

Great composition! He looks pretty impressive.
Impressionnant et dérangeant ...

These performers are fun, but I don't understand who or what he is impersonating.
I also thought of Spock!
great performer , does he move when you give him money ? ;)
I think he moved just now.
Great composition, impressive!
You have a statue of an elf! Brilliant!
I see Martians have arrived in Lisbon! Run!
Kind vacation regards from Yellowstone National Park and Montana
Half a Euro for a half-Vulcan?
Eeek, there are aliens in the neighbourhood.
Live long and prosper, friend.
This is so cool and yet somewhat creepy :)
Funny picture, but I can't see how staying still in a costume can be art!
