That must have been an amazing doorway when it was maintained, it has such beautiful details.

The Blues and the Pinks are just striking even if the colors are decaying, the complimenting colors just give it a beautiful effect! Great Framing JM!

This is one of those places where the decay has added to the character of the place. I love that door.

Would imagine that home would have been fabulous in it's prime JM, the pink walls and blue door would have been stunning, it's actually still quite attractive in it's decaying state. Beautiful shot.

Pourtant, pousser la porte bleue a dû être agréable pendant des années ...

It is kind of a shame, JM, but it does make for a gorgeous photograph.

Another fantastic capture in your Decay series! It's sad, but fascinating and I think it's terrific that you have photographed them. Thanks for sharing the, JM!

A wonderful image... neglected buildings have a beauty all of their own.

It is still beautful! Looks as if it would be worth saving maybe? (At my age I have a soft spot for anything aging ;>)

Drop dead gorgeous, Jose!

You truly have elevated 'decay' to an art form. This is gorgeous.

A great picture of a building that makes me want to grab my schpachtel knife and start scraping.

Decay yes but nothing that a little tender loving cace could not fix. Even so, it is still beautiful like an old person . . .

It makes me sad that a house with such a beautiful door has become a ruin... :(

Now isn'r this a wonderful example of ruin.I love the pealing plaster, the blue/green doors and the fancy bits of ironwork. There is so much to love in this photo.

Colourful decay!

What a shame. Looks like it was, at one time, quite elegant.

Our travel group at Stone Creek has planned a trip to Portugal later this year. Unfortunately, we can't afford the price. But it would be fun. We'd even buy you a beer! :-)
