Mid-October vs. Early November

Carcavelos Beach

*

Oh, and by the way,

Biggest wave of all time in Nazaré (100 km north of Oeiras)

"Garrett McNamara has surfed what is considered to be the biggest wave ever. The Hawaiian big wave rider caught the huge monster in Praia do Norte, Nazaré, Portugal, during the ZON North Canyon Project 2011.
The wave is estimated to be about 90 feet (30 meters)."

Wonderful seaside shots and that amazing monster wave! We watched it on the news a few hours ago.

I saw that story about the big wave on the news. Incredible! Can you imagine coming over the top of that?

Love the first two pictures...they evoke two very different sets of emotions...the colors in each are very dramatic!

I can't imagine a wave that big, let alone standing on a small board trying to ride it.

The television news carried footage of this surfer and the huge wave he rode. Amazing . . .

Pictures of a great expanse of water are very appealing to we who live in land locked places. Beautiful

JM - a Trojan has attached itself to you comments page. When the comments are opened, the Trojan opens and begins downloading immediately. Rob at Barcelona has the same problem when you open his Other Photos blog. In his case, it happens when you open the blog; in your case, it happens when you open the comments. The URL of the Trojan is:

@Louis: I had no idea, I guess my computer immediatly blocks it. Although I'm not sure what I shall do to stop it, the Trojan's URL doesn't show on your comment. Anyway, thank you so for letting me know.
