What an interesting contrast between the buildings.
Regarding the Trojan - what I learned from Rob at Barcelona Daily Photo is that it has somehow attached itself to video links in our blogs. The Trojan opened when I opened your comments, but I quickly closed the window in the browser. When I came back to your blog again, it did not open this time. The URL for the Trojan is exactly the same as I was getting at 2 of Rob's blogs.
Difficult question. The unpainted has a sense of decay and old-ness which is nice. But the painted looks clean and new, which is also nice. Guess I'm not much help!
My answer is don't paint if you are photographer but paint it if you are going to live in it .. give it a new life. I love the way old buildings can be restored to life and paint is central to that transformation,

What a question!!! I'm not sure about the answer though.
entre les deux ;)
that is the question.
For me is this not to paint, it's a perfect black and white ;)
I would say yes JM, in a nice soft yellow, I think that would look perfect!!
Uma tonalidade clara ficará belissima!
:)
Gostei do angulo nessa foto, super bom!

Actually, I would say to paint, but...:)

Good question. I think I like it the way it is but could change my mind if I saw it painted.
My first response was the same as brattcat -- that is indeed the question!! I do like the contrast and it does make for a terrific shot!

Fortement contrasté, bonheur pour le photographe.
The contrast is puzzling, I like it as it is now, but I am probably wrong...
A quandry my friend... still thinking.
I am glad I don't have to make that decision! I bet I would eventually decide to paint but I'm not sure.
I love the contrast it provides. So for me it's: keep it this way.
Fantastic composition of the picture, you have an amazing eye.
He he he! Por enquanto parece que não!
Os pombos en cima da antena não estão de acordo;o)
Mesmo assim, faz um lindo contraste com o muro cá em baixo todo branquinho!
Maybe the answer is to paint, and then to wait until a bit of age makes it more interesting.
I would! I nice golden color with blue trim.
And the color has to be.....
Not sure.
Nice image, AND a beautiful BLUE SKY!

Didn't Shakespeare ask that question...
I would of course prefere to paint it, but on a canvas, what a great motife, you`re a great photografer :D
Great contrast JM! That's a tough question though. The white is so pretty, but the decay...well we both know how we both feel about it! :)
Ahhh! To paint!
Bravo.
