J'adore cette photo. Elle est tellement "plate" qu'on pourrait croire à un trompe l'oeil. Seule la cheminée qui dépasse sur le ciel pommelé rectifie l'illusion ...
Jose' - sorry to hear about your surgery! I hope you're feeling much better now! Good to catch up with you and your blog this morning! I send you some of our fresh snow...
Great capture, superb composition, wonderful colors and I do hope all of our countries futures look as bright as this wonderful chimney against the sky -- and soon!
I do not know of a single brick smoke stack in either Arizona or Costa Rica.
When I worked for a Member of Congress years ago, his family business, going back generations, was a tannery. They had the family name written in different colored bricks running down the smoke stack. They sold the business, but the family name was still there.
I learned from your photos (and confirmed by my own experience) when the best time for making photos happen. Desides, great composition and funny tree shape.

love this shot with the serenity and light above and the hint of unrest in the dark gathering below.

Bises et beau dimanche****
I hope that Portugal's future is as bright as the light on the buildings and the sky!

What a wonderful photo. There is so much going on that you can look at it for a long time and see all kinds of new things.

The noble chimney reaches to the puffy clouds.
Love this shot, superb composition, wonderful colors!
I love the way you have composed your shot...
A fantastic image.
I like this chimney and also the roof of the building.
Very cool and I hope the protesters make if hot for the SOBs who have screwed up our global economy in order to line their own pockets.
Now, you've got to explain to me where they get the round bricks! :-)
Wow that really stands out. Beautiful buildings.
Love those clouds too.
The light is perfect. I love the architecture too!
Beautiful light in this image JM, if only there wasn't so much anger below that beautiful sky.
Did you join the protest or only record it with your camera?
Que lugar estranho com essa chaminé. Essa foto me deixa sem ar. Parece um lugar pouco ventilado... muito estranho. Uma sensação de sufocamento.
