Great photo. I also did a black and white photo of the sea today, but on a very different type of day.

What a great image JM, looks like a wave is just forming about to crash onto the shore! Lovely little reflection in the rock pool.

@Kate and Dave: This is NOT a b&w photo! :-)))

The angle is very deceiving. It looks like you are about to be swallowed by a BIG wave. Great photo!

It's interesting to see that you were fogged in as well - we had freezing fog for 2 weeks, and today is another foggy day, although no longer freezing.

I love the soft feel of the sea in this shot - along with the reflections in the little tidepool.

It's cool that this appears to be shot in b&W, but that it really is reflecting the colors of the day!

P.S. I will be honored to use your heart on Guest Heart Thursday soon! Thank you, thank you, Thank you!!!

I hate foggy days....unless I have a camera to play with. Hope you found some spider webs too. A beautiful image and love the black and white.

Terrific capture, JM! Are you sure you weren't in Seattle when you took this??? Now how did I know it was not a B&W shot??? Enjoy your weekend, JM! Thanks as always for your visit/comment! Much appreciated!

That's a picture of my mind!!!!

Nah, but it's a fantastic fog picture. I'd not want to be on a ship in the middle of it.

Re your question on The Villages - yes, I used a flash; accidentally. I didn't want her know I was taking a picture but the darn flash went off anyway. Fortunately, she was oblivious! :-)

So lovely! At first, it seems like rocks and sees, but then there is the kiss of magical light in the rock pool!
