I thought the name was unusual, until I looked it up. It's a good idea to name something used everyday like that to make sure the memory stays alive.
You've shown us some beautiful shots of the this bridge, I like this new perspective very much.
Good strong shot JM, so apparently this bridge is very much like the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco is that right?
I like this angle on the bridge.
Terrific capture, JM, and I agree with Woody that something like this is a great way to keep the memory alive -- I, too, looked it up! Have a great week!Sylvia
This is an impressive structure. Let's hope there is not an earthquake like in 1755.
Creatively composed...it certainly gives off a sense of massive strength which is, of course, what one wants in a bridge!Lovely light here, too, JM!
Another wonderful image... and from a different perspective to the norm.Nice one.
I am going to go and look it up now.
Nice composition.
Great capture at this angle!
Strong composition and cool light. I hate to admit my ignorance but what does April 25th commemorate?
One of my favorite memories in Lisbon...
@Oakland: The Portuguese lived under Salazar's dictatorship for 48 years until a revolution took place on April 25.
Great angle!God bless you!Cezar
