Zounds! Your collection must be world-class! Fantastic.

Re your question as to what the women were saying on the back of the motorcycles: I think, but wouldn't swear to it, that the one on the right said, "I sure as hell hope we get home soon, my ass is killing me!"

Well, it's possible, right? :-)

Wonderful and wondrous! (At first I thought these were bananas - but of course they are green and hang the other way around...)

Wow! I had an aloe vera (indoors) for years and it never bloomed. This is quite a dramatic show! Lovely!

I was going to leave a comment on your previous post but couldn't think of anything family-friendly :) But this one is great, something tropical to warm my eyes, as we've just had a snowstorm (springtime in the mountains, anything from shorts to blizzards, sometimes both in one day).

That dark yellow against the grey sky is spectacular.

For plants that require so little water to survive, they certainly put on a show when they're in bloom.

That is gorgeous! And I didn't even realize that aloe vera had blooms.

Happy Easter, JM!

I have Aloe Vera in my garden. I wonder if it is the same plant because I have never seen mine flower.

This is what I love, to find something new from somewhere in the world every day. I know aloe vera very well, but I have never seen it flower, beautifully shown here JM.

This aloe looks huge! How big IS your place? Or is that a photographic illusion... :-)

Nathalie said...

I thought Aloe Vera was quite small. This looks huge and I'd never seen it blossom either. Thanks for this.
