We have temperate rain forest which like this is lush and green but ours would typically have tree ferns. I adore forest shots though I generally find them hard to do because of the low light.
Look at those wonderful reflections. I'd guess you wouldn't want to be out here along at night, right? This scene is reminiscent of our Rainbow Springs area! Must be hot and humid what with all that moss.
If your photo were shown to people who had to guess the country in which it was taken, Portugal would not come to mind. It looks more like Costa Rica than Portugal.
Gorgeous lush image JM, and this is so close to the city? Fantastic.
Thank you so much for the ROA link gosh the guy is certainly prolific! How amazing that there are all those HUGE murals in Perth that I haven't seen. I will definitely head out to Midland and West Perth to see if I can spot the one's shown in the link, again thanks..mega interesting.
Beautiful photograph, awesome landscape... I agree with some of the previous comments - when I first saw that pic, I thought it had been taken somewhere else (Portugal definitely did not come to mind, what I remember of the country from two trips there when I was a kid, is a landscape very different from this one)
I haven't been able to get around to my favorite blogs for a couple of days - so glad I came back to this photo! How beautiful - truly your image is a work of art.
