Pigeons are pests, but with one like this it is obviously another story...Great 'portrait' of an incredible bird!
This is certainly the most beautiful pigeon I've ever seen! It's such a dramatic and wondrous shade of blue.
Now that is one pigeon I wouldn't mind seeing around town!
Now that is one well dressed, colorful bird, JM! And quite a hat for the day as well! I love it! Never seen one quite like it! Love the brilliant color!Sylvia

Oh wow JM, wonderful close up of this beautifully coloured bird. I have to admit if I didn't know it was a pigeon I would have thought it a type of peacock. Nice work indeed!
What a beautiful bird!
Beautiful, indeed! MB
Podia ir perfectamente a una boda, jjj.Escelente fotografia.
Just so beautiful. Even a blue beak.
A beautiful bird, indeed!
Hi JM. Thanks, but I don't think my bird in Jerusalem is one of these beautiful ones you show.Mine was in a big open jungle type aviary where all the birds can fly/walk around, so there were no signs of ID. Or maybe I just didn't notice them, since I had my eye more on the grandchildren instead.
