so beautiful. what kind of architectural design is this?

@Photo Cache: The building has a profusion of styles much in accordance with the exotic taste of 19th century Romanticism. It includes the Neo-Gothic, Neo-Manueline, Islamic and Neo-Renaissance.

My goodness - there's so much to look at. It truly does have a profusion of styles! It looks like it was designed by a committee of warring egos. Wonderful shot capturing this explosion of architectural thought.

At first I thought it was a church, which is a sort of palace for the clergy. But then architecture seems more Moorish (but what do I know?)...love the rich, saturated colors!

Uma arquitetura tão diferente do que temos aqui. Por vezes eu penso que um pedaço da história não deixou marcas aqui, parece que deu um salto.

This photo is so warm it could melt. It looks like a confectioner's masterwork.
