this still looks very much lived in. i wonder often about the views from the windows of the decayed houses. i wish i could stand beside you and turn in a circle to put what you're showing us in context.

In spite of the decay, it's somehow still a lovely little house -- which I guess makes the decay just that much sadder! Your capture catches its appeal. Wonderful! Great composition!

I would hope that one day you would be able to do a series on "renovated and saved" in addition for "decay."

That's quite a cactus in front! Another nice shot of sad moldering.

What a shame. This was once a wonderful place. And, what a cactus!

Right: sic transit gloria mundi, or the Buddha's teachings about impermanence. The Second Law of Thermodynamics. Wherever you are, it's downhill from here.

it's a lovely house , no candidate for the renovation?

That cactus is a perfect foil for the decay.

I guess I'm a little bit dumb....I can't understand how this magnificent house could DECAY like that?! I guess it usually comes down to money...

Oh, how beautiful this must have been at one time!

Such a lovely place! With all the patching, hopefully there is restoration going on.

I think there is a certain elegance in the decay here. The flower pots on the railing tell me someone still cares.

It makes me sad sometimes to see all the decay in your city. This looks like it was once a beautiful abode. Too bad. :(

This house doesn't look beyond repair. Unless there are hidden horrors inside. Does anyone ever rescue and renovate these houses?

Oh this would have been so beautiful once JM, it still is in a very shabby chic sort of way. I wonder what the interior is like.
