We call those a Juliet balcony.

I am glad that this does not qualify for your photo series of decay.

Such exquisite tile work and I love the little balcony and the peek at your beautiful blue skies! Have a wonderful weekend, JM!

So lovely! I don't think I've ever seen a flat tile-faced building like this. Are they common in Portugal?

Old but beautiful!

Lovely to see.. it makes me smile as a lot of the new builds in my town have them in the bedrooms.

The tiles make a simple building more ornate. The railing on the balcony is very pretty.

Lovely place to sip a cup of coffee or glass of wine and watch for a few minutes!

Beautiful tile work! I love that intricate wrought iron balcony also.

Imagine how long it would have taken to do all that tiling, but so worth it, what a beauty JM.

I would love to rent a room, with doors / windows like this on a corner with life around both day and night, sunshine and more than +7C.

I better start saving!:)
