Beauty blooms and then disappears! Wouldn't it be wonderful to hang on to those lovely visions a bit longer?

Delectably precise arrangement of petals. So often the most transient things are also the most appreciated and remembered. Lovely blooms.

Oh la la JM these are so beautiful, you would want to keep a close eye on the buds so as not to miss this moment! Do they have a perfume also?

Wow! What gorgeous photos. They are so pretty I'll bed you stay up all night just to sit and look at them! I'd pull up a chair, get a glass of wine, fix my eyes upon them, and do a little meditation. :-)

Fantastically beautiful!

These are truly breathtaking, and even moreso because they are so ephemeral. The little petals in the middle are an extra touch of beauty. It's curious that they are night bloomers. With so much pollen, I wonder what pollinators they might attract. . .moths?

So very beautiful. I never cease to be amazed by cactus flowers ... so unexpected and so dainty for such prickly plants.

Beautiful. They look like carnivorous flowers with their big mouths open and lots of sticky pistils pushing insects inside.
