That looks like an awful lot of netting in your first photo. How in the world do they gather it up and get it into the water? Love the harbor view. Always a pleasure.
Funny, Lowell! I love our Dungeness crabs here. One of my most favorite foods. It looks like you have a vibrant fishery. Many of our fisher people can't make a go of it.

Nice to see where our seafood comes from. Beautiful pictures.
I guess fishing is still a big industry in Oeiras.
Love these photos and they are so colourful. Diane
Better not be a fish around there, with so many boats trying their catch... :)
God bless you!

i like the way the images are divided into three areas with the fishing gear in the lower field echoing the clouds in the top field.
Your water shots always remind me of Maine.
This reminds me of my childhood fishing with nets and pots! Happy Sunday JM!
There must be plenty of fish there. I like seeing all those boats.
wow. quite the busy harbor.
What wonderful captures for the day, JM! I love the boats and the nets! I could wander around there for hours! Hope you've had a great weekend!
J'adore this kind of image JM, all those boats, all those nets..I wonder if it'll be a good catch today (or do they go out at night?)
What a wonderful way to frame these photos of the boats in the harbor. Perfect.
Arr, the humble lobster pot.... kept many a fisherman from hunger on the high seas.
Loves images and perspectives JM

I love the lobster pots.
Lovely photos of a lovely harbor. Great light, too! I guess you could say if fishing is good you might end up with a net profit... :-)
