This is a terrific photo. The light on the the boats with the dark background is very dramatic.

It is time for new paint, but it is good that you got your photo before the new paint job.

Nice shot JM! I'm sure many good adventures were had in these old boats.

Outstanding, JM! The color, the texture, the composition . . . It is all there.

Some tiny little sailors have not been caring for their tiny old boats! Looks like some patch work on the hull of the red one. Neither one looks particularly seaworthy. The best thing to do is what you have done...stand on firm ground and take photos!

I love the red one!! Great textures.

Wonderful shot again! ;-)

Someone has been using these boats a lot. I like that.

Awesome capture, but do they hold much weight? Not sure how big they are, but they look pretty small... love the faded, peeling colors =)

I also really like your header map, too cool! =)

We have some old boats, but these are more photogenic and picturesque!

They are rather tiny! This is great JM, bright color against the dark sea.

Lovely capture...

It looks as if they have seen a great deal of use. . .and very little maintenance. Almost suitable as another post in your "Decay" series. Very nice shot!

Rugged but beautiful.

I love this photograph, and the boats! They remind me of the ones I used to see in Cornwall, when we went there on holiday and rented a cottage.... lots of old boats in need of new paint... the smell of the sea... I miss it!

Glorious weathered texture on these old boats! A work of art!

Great image JM, really when you think about it, as long as you're not going out into deep rough waters, this is all you need oui! Mind you some oars would come in handy haha!

Love it. The patina of age adds something quite special to the image.
