The waves in the background look like a Japanese woodblock print.

A wonderful likeness and a nice homage from a fan. I also like the sly reference to Hokusai's "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" in the background. Thanks for contributing to Monday Mural.

A great homage, JM! It is sad to see so many talented people dying before their time. Makes one wonder about about the genuine value of talent these days. A beautiful, but lonely beach seems appropriate!
