Tall walls bordering the beach are unusual to me.

Those are quite impressive walls! It must be fascinating during a storm.

I have never seen such high walls at a beach. Presumably the water comes in quite high at times. Diane

Like the others, I'm amazed at the tall walls! They do make (along with your great composition) for a terrific capture, JM! Love the water!! Have a wonderful weekend!

Love this place but it does have a sense of danger about it. Must be the rocks and the walls. In my younger days I would have sat on the rocks and fished.

What an amazing image JM, I don't think I've ever seen a beach surrounded by walls like this before, you get the real sense of perspective here.

Those walls are amazing. I am sure their history is too.

Cool! The promenade you showed a day or so ago is on the right, right? That churning pool looks a little dangerous -

Wonderful looking spot.

Wow! What a spot! I assume that there must have been a bluff at one time and the wall was built to stabilize it. . .and maintain that elegant high rent district behind it? Whatever, it's a gorgeous location and you've scored another great shot!

Those protective walls are pretty imposing. Does the water ever get up to the top?

I will add that on my list of where to go.....
Just in case I will have the opportunity one day!
Looks fantastic!

Happy weekend!

The perfect city beach. A lovely patch of sand with easy access and nice houses above.
