So big to be abandoned.

meme abandonnée, je la trouve plus belle que celle de derriere.
Son balcon devait etre magnifique au moment de sa grande splendeur

Looks like it needs lots of work, but how lovely it could be if given the time and trouble to repair and upgrade. I imagine the cost would be prohibitive, though.

What an amazing place it must have been!

Beautiful decay, as always. Sad though b/c this must have been a beautiful structure.

Wow, it will take a lot of work to bring this one back to it's original glory but, it would be a beauty if someone did.

Your decay photos leave me with mixed feelings: joy, for the beauty that was and sadness for what it has become. From the open doors and windows I imagine that it is occupied so perhaps there is hope.

It is so sad to see this happening to such a beautiful old home! Marvelous capture as always -- you do capture the beauty as well as the decay of these wonderful old buildings! Hope you've had a good week, JM!

Praticamente todos os dias passo por ela e imagino o que lhe faria.
Quão grande era a minha sorte de poder pegar numa coisa destas!

How I would love to come to this house's rescue! Make it an artist's retreat/commune/gallery/party palace. What a shame. It really is a beauty. (I'd even leave the tags)! Can't you just imagine tons of little white twinkly lights on the balcony? So many worthy causes...

Nice juxtaposition between that beautiful building in the rear and this poor thing. But what a magnificent place this one at one time!

Oh this is just too sad JM, backtrack 100 years how I'd love to see what it looked like then.
