Que encanto! Como é possivel deixarem lugares tão lindos se degradarem! Que tristeza! Ainda bem que imortalizastes de tão bela maneira! Obrigada pela partilha, JM.
I'm thinking not only what this might look like if it was renovated but how it stood tall and proud in its original, magnificent glory! Some buildings probably need to be let go and torn down, but not this one!
Wow, what a gorgeous setting. Hard to believe it's abandoned to the elements. Oh, to have a house like this. Even in decrepit shape, I bet this costs a fortune. Shall dream on.

This one looks like a good clean-up might restore it to it's former beauty.
such a lovely decay place :)
The details and colors in the tiles are wonderful.
encore un tres bel endroit laisser a l'abandon, c'est dommage
Sad and yet sort of romantic. I can imagine Goethe walking there...
So gorgeous, even in decay
wow. still mesmerizing.
What a gorgeous place I hope that someone gets a round to restoring it. Keep well Diane
I agree with Sharon! Still so much beauty there and a good clean-up could restore so much more! Terrific captures as always, JM! Have a great week!
All those wonderful tiles! I hope that they are saved somehow.
This must have been lovely when it was being fully maintained.
One the most beautiful decay I have ever seen! I'll get the bench!
Ooooh, this is sad. I hope it gets some attention before the deterioration becomes more serious.
It could be so beautiful if restored.
Lovely pictures! What did this building serve as before?
P.S. thanks for the clarification on pronouncing Oeiras!
How lovely - this must have been a beautiful place in its day.
I think you have either shown this place before or been someplace similar ... I loved it then and again now.

I should imagine this place would have been so beautiful in its time JM.
Excelentes fotografias do nosso Património....
Cumprimentos
I'm fascinated by the tilework. I hope those get salvaged and given new homes/uses.
So gorgeous. Too bad it has gone to decay...
it is aging beautifully, but I hope it will not be destroyed. :)
