It makes delicate and graceful shadows.

It is interesting how Western culture admires and has mimicked what we think of a s Oriental architecture, and by that we usually mean the style of the Near East, yet when we speak of the Orient, we usually mean the Far East.

Esse palácio é deslumbrante, uma riqueza enorme de detalhes, uma beleza de arquitetura.Também gostei imenso da sombra!

I was thinking this place had a Moorish look to it so I googled it and saw it was built by a millionaire Englishman. Very interesting. I love the shadows you've caught in this photo.

I love the row and mark of columns on the photo. Vert interesting carvings above them and on the walls.

PS. Got home from Cuba yesterday...an amazing trip! Come visit; I've missed seeing the blogs every day!!

If I ever get to Oeiras, will you take me to Sintra? I've seen lots of photos of the place and it is very impressive and lush, like this building...what gorgeous columns and stone work!
