Impressive! I also like the cobblestones and the benches!
Hey, an obelisk with something useful--benches!
Wow there is a lot of detail on that pedestal.
un beau monument et sympa les bancs
i like the waving cobblestones :)
Gosh that looks like its been there for a vey long time JM, wondering if you took any animal shots while you were at the zoo.
wow! so heavy!
Beautiful old fountain and as always I love tile work! Terrific capture as always, JM! Hope your week is going well!
Oh yes, how nice to sit there and follow the waves before looking up...Weather bad here too by the way...
The cobblestone is so interesting it would be easy to neglect the beauty of the obelisk!
It has an air of age and use about it, but is quite beautiful and quite graceful. I think those benches would be most useful if you planned to meet with one of the zoo denizens after hours. Not an elephant, tho. Thanks for your comments. We are happy campers in Florida!
Ooops, I meant to tell you I'm entranced by the new name of your blog. Excellent and more suggestive as to what you are all about.
Gorgeous, but once again your town awe's me with that tile sidewalk.
It's all lovely.
I like the way the colours on the pavement a like the colours on the monument.
And a nice place to sit too (as long as the weather is fine). I like the wavy mosaic floor.
I very much like the texture here.
